Chase & Bethany are some of the most real people I have met and they completely get the meaning of marriage. They waited for one another and now they fight for & adore each other. When she first contacted me about their wedding, I knew it was going to be beautiful. They only had five weeks to plan because of Chase’s crazy work schedule, but it was perfect for them. The day started out with some makeup time for the girls and the boys went off sailing. Bethany was the sweetest mixture of calm & excited as she was getting ready. Chase & his boys had a blast on the water as they got to tour San Diego and they even saw a seal, which was super exciting to the out of town guys. Before we left Bethany’s house to head to the wedding, she handed all of her ladies (and even me!!) a handwritten letter to show her appreciation for them. This little gesture speaks so loudly of Bethany’s spirit. She is always willing to give and support even on a day that some people say is suppose to be all about them. Their ceremony was simple and sweet with no chairs, and just a cute altar in the back. They really didn’t need much with the beautiful San Diego ocean in the background. After the ceremony, Spencer and I strolled around with them as they laughed and kissed and loved and danced. It was such bliss! We were so honored to be able to pray with them for their honeymoon and future marriage at the end of the night. This wedding was such an example to me of what marriage truly is, and it taught me so much as a photographer and follower of Christ. Thank you Bethany & Chase for letting me into your beautiful love story!
Thank you Summer for the beautiful makeup and Coastyle Events for the gorgeous flowers!
